Euro Chai South Africa is a London-based charity founded in 2002 by a group of expatriate South Africans to raises funds to support Jewish charitable causes in South Africa. There are 15 charities currently supported in areas including education, training, community welfare and care (for the elderly, vulnerable as well as those facing specific challenges). The charities supported are spread throughout South Africa.
Sustaining the South African charitable cause has become more difficult for the local community over time and the expatriate community can make a real difference. Euro Chai South Africa is the UK-based part of a wider network of similar charities around the world. Euro Chai South Africa is run by volunteers, so all monies raised (net of costs for certain events) reach the recipient charities.
Donations can be made at any time . There are Euro Chai South Africa fundraising events from time to time too.
Make a contribution to sustain the future for our past. Contributions in non-financial form are welcome too – let us know how you would like to help.
